Roseann Lyle, PhD, FACSM

Roseann Lyle, PhD, FACSMRoseann M. Lyle is a Professor of Public Health at Purdue University. Recently she has been focusing on translating research on physical activity and older adults into community settings through her leadership of a local Coalition for Living Well after 50. Dr. Lyle is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine and past chair of the College’s Strategic Health Initiative for Aging. She serves on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Aging and Physical Activity and is a member of the Active Aging Partnership, which directs ongoing initiatives of the Blueprint for Increasing Activity among Adults over 50. She is active in the Research Consortium of the American Alliance of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance and serves on the Council for Women’s Nutrition Solutions, an advisory board of leading health and nutrition experts. She recently was appointed to the steering committee of the Indiana Arthritis Initiative.
